We are pleased to welcome Sidney Spector, MD, PhD to our panel of
physicians. Dr. Spector is a board certified neurologist with a special
interest in carpal tunnel syndrome and back injury. He is licensed in
Oregon, Washington and Arizona. Dr. Spector uses a portable EMG machine
for Nerve Conduction Studies. This will be a valuable, time saving
resource for you!

David Appleby, MD
Specializing in upper extremities, with an emphasis on hand surgery, Dr. Appleby is
an actively practicing, board certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Appleby’s hospital affiliations
include the University of Pittsburgh Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital, Three Rivers Community
Hospital and Grants Pass Surgery Center. Dr. Appleby is also a member of the American Society for
Surgery of the Hand, American Medical Association and the Oregon Medical Association. Orthopaedic

Beth Howell, MD
Dr. Howell is a board certified psychiatrist in the Portland area. Dr. Howell is also trained in Neurology. Dr. Howell specializes in PTSD, Depression, anxiety, neuro psychiatry, stress and Munchausen’s syndrome. Dr. Howell has been a consulting psychiatrist for the ER at St. Vincent Hospital and is currently a clinical instructor in the department of Psychiatry at OHSU. Dr. Howell is a member of the American Psychiatry Association. We are pleased to add Dr. Howell to our panel!

Jerry Nye, MD
Dr. Nye is a board certified in surgery, plastic surgery and surgery of the hand. Dr. Nye is a clinical instructor in surgery (plastic surgery) at OHSU and has authored medical publications as well as given numerous lectures to the medical community. Dr. Nye has extensive experience conducting independent medical exams. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nye to our panel!

Christopher Clark, DC
Christopher Clark is a chiropractic physician fluent in Spanish. He has extensive experience treating injured workers and personal injury accident patients in Oregon and California as well as peer review of other chiropractors. Christopher is a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College with a degree from the University of California Berkeley in Spanish and Pre-Med. A Spanish speaking physician will be a great asset to our panel and we are glad to welcome Christopher Clark!

Joel Daven, MD
Dr. Daven is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a special qualification in child neurology. Dr. Daven received his medical degree from Boston University and served in the military as a Chinese translator in Viet Nam. Dr. Daven is in active practice and currently doing IMEs and Nerve Conduction Studies for Orthopaedic Consultants on Mon, Tues and Thursday afternoons.

Charles Weeks, MD
Dr. Weeks is an actively practicing, board certified Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Weeks received his medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed his residency at Tulane University, Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Weeks has been in private practice for over 30 years and has 10 years of experience doing IMEs. He will now be scheduling time to do IMEs for Orthopaedic Consultants within his private practice schedule.
